• Email and password (via Firebase Authentication)
• Notes you create about restaurants, including optional categories like "Last Time," "Next Time," or "Favorites"

Automatically Collected Information:

• Location access (only used to provide restaurant suggestions based on your area; not stored)
• App usage data (via Google Analytics for Firebase)

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and improve app functionality
• Sync and store your notes securely
• Personalize your experience
• Understand app performance and usage through analytics

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

We may share anonymized, aggregated analytics data to understand usage trends, but this data does not identify you personally.

4. Data Storage & Security

We use Firebase Firestore and Authentication, which encrypts and securely stores your data in the cloud. We also follow industry-standard practices to protect against unauthorized access.

5. Your Data Rights

• You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Account settings page.

6. Location Permissions

We request access to your device's location only to enhance the restaurant search experience using the Google Places API. We do not collect, store, or share your location data.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app and updated at the top of this policy with a new "Last updated" date.
